M y sixth TRUE storied dual language children’s book was released two years ago now. Translation into French and English co-existing in the same book, and 18 remarkable, water colored illustrations are now a reality.
This dual language children’s book is dedicated to personnel who impact, or have impacted the lives of patients throughout the jurisdiction of The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario ( CHEO). This hospital is located in Ottawa, Ontario.
Remarkably, student leadership was at the forefront of this fundraiser as six students, where the event occurred, initiated the fundraising idea.
Kristina Kager the main character in this book, who was six years old at the time, suffered from (ALL Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia).
I am pleased to report that her outcome was positive and Kristina is now a robust, healthy eighteen year old teenager who completed her last year of secondary school.
This book, along with my five other books, donates a portion of every book sold to KIDS HELP PHONE (Canada).
A portion of each of the Kristina books sold will ALSO support the CHEO FOUNDATION.
